Hp Recovery Manager Loop

I have attempted to reset laptop using a factory reset usb taken from the laptop when i first purchased it . i wish to reset it to factory default settings the laptop is looping on "restoration incomplete".. Vista won't boot. continual loop to recovery manager. i cannot get past the recovery manager. i have tried a restore. i have tried booting in safe made. all roads lead back to recovery manager. if a clean install is required with a proper vista dvd (not hp, dell recovery disks):. - enter hp recovery manager and select it from the results. - if prompted by a user account control, select yes to continue. - under help, select windows recovery environment..

Everything looked fine - hp software installing, desktop was there, installed video card driver... installed the video driver, laptop shut down and now stuck in a loop with recovery manager. keeps asking if i want to recreate a factory image.. Hp recovery manager is a software program for windows that comes with hp's consumer pcs. use hp recovery manager to reinstall some of the hardware drivers and software programs that originally came with your hp computer. not all software is available to be reinstalled.. Do not interrupt hp recovery manager during the recovery process. when recovery preparation is complete, click continue to proceed to the installation phase of the recovery process. the computer restarts several times during the recovery. this is normal. do not close, shut down, or disconnect the computer while hp recovery runs..
